Buying Real Estate

Let Us Help You Buy Your Dream Home

Buying a home is an exciting time as the realization of a dream comes true. It is one of the best ways to build wealth and  invest in your future. The reasons for buying property are as numerous as the people buying, but it is usually one of the largest purchases you will make in your lifetime. Here are a few things to consider as you prepare. When we meet in person we will share a much more in depth review of these steps:

Financials:

Saving for a down payment and reviewing your financials to determine your monthly budget are important first steps as you prepare. Once you have ironed out then it is time to connect with a mortgage broker.

Mortgage Qualification:

If you are planning on applying for a mortgage, connecting with a mortgage lender can help you decipher how much you will qualify for. Based on your financials and credit history,  a mortgage broker will give you with a letter stating your qualifying amount. This is an important part of an offer process as it backs your financial credibility.

Choose an Attorney:

If you do not already have an attorney, now is a good time to interview a few and select one. Let them know you are in the market to purchase a home and decide who you will feel comfortable working with so you will be ready to go once your offer is accepted. A good question to ask is what they charge.

Property Search:

You may have already begun your preliminary search online and you may have even visited a few open houses. We will help you focus your search and find properties more efficiently and from there we will visit properties that match your needs.

Offer, Purchase & Sales Agreement, Closing:

Once you take care of getting pre approved, then when you find your perfect home then we will be ready to put in an offer. It is important in any market to be as prepared as possible in order to present a strong and appealing offer in a timely fashion. Depending on the terms you agreed upon, the next few weeks will include a home inspection, review of condo documents, signing the P&S, submitting your down payment, securing a mortgage - and finally the closing!

The above are just highlights of the process. We are happy to answer any other questions you may have. We understand this may be a new and foreign process to you and it is our goal to help you feel at ease and to make your home buying process as stress free as possible.
